I'm an archaeologist who has participated in field projects in different regions of the Americas but specialize in prehispanic central Mexico. My research interests include urbanism, households, collective action, community engagement, and comparative approaches to better understanding the human story. This landing page links to past and ongoing projects, publications, and other media. Thanks for browsing.

Like my research, most my publications focus on prehispanic central Mexico, but also deal with broader themes relating to how people have succeeded and failed in working together, the intersection of religion and urbanization, lithic (stone-tool) economies, and a transatlantic deep history on the Aztec-Spanish war of 500 years ago. Pages on books and articles link to those publications. Thanks for reading.
